井上陽水「太陽の町」
CDアルバム『二色の独楽』（1974年：LP）で「太陽の町」を聴いた。作詞・作曲/井上陽水 編曲/Gene Page。
朝日新聞の朝刊の「今日の番組」頁で「体を揺らすCMコピー」というタイトルが目にとまった（2005年4月6日・東京版）。
文化放送の石井千鶴子プロデューサーの「どんなに美しい言葉でも、声となったものが人の耳に心地よくなければだめ」や、鴻上尚史の「言葉が届くということは、言葉が相手の体を揺らすことです」などのコメントが紹介されている。（ライター・山家誠一）
これはラジオCMの話だが、音を伴わない言葉はいかに無力か、と読んでしまったのは、毎日このコラムを書きながら、そう思っているからだ。陽水の曲を聴いて文を書く。自分の頭のなかではメロディが鳴っているから、それが伝わっているような気がしている。でも、メロディや声なしでは、象の脚のつま先にさえ触ってもらっていないのだ。残念である。

この「太陽の町」も、詩を読むだけでは、（そう言ってはナンだが）さして興味を惹かない。次の引用で、少し心に触れた気はするが。

♪立ち止りもせず
一回聴き、くり返し聴く。「体を揺らす」メロディがゆっくりと歌われて、詩は歌になる。陽水自身のコーラスが陰影をつけている。
この曲は、上で引用した最初の節だけ（編曲/星勝）が、アルバムの3曲目にも入っているという趣向。これは、この次のアルバム『招待状のないショー』の「枕詞」「結詞」の扱いと同じなのだ。そう思って読み、聴くと、「結詞」は「太陽の町」の発展形かと思えて来る。

なんてことはないけど、いい歌だと思います。情景が浮かんで、なんかこれからの季節にぴったりな気がしますね。自分のイメージでは大平原の中をSLかなんかが走る抜けていくのを空高くから見下ろしてる感じ？？…こういうのを聴き旅心が掻き立てられるんですよ。。

I do agree with all the ideas you have presented in your post. They're very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for beginners. Could you please extend them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

I question if this will emerge as a widely-known trend. My guess is that by the passing of the next election, this will be a nation-wide craze. Nice in beating out the traditional media on this one.
