井上陽水「傘がない」
アルバム『断絶』（1972年）で「傘がない」を聴いた。あまりの有名曲で気がひけるが、こうも冷たい雨の週末では仕方がない。
同年にアルバムよリカットされたシングル『傘がない』も出ている。B面は「感謝知らずの女」。
浅間山荘事件の年として記憶されている1972年に出たこの曲は、社会的関心よりも個人の生活へ、のメッセージとして語られることが多い。井上陽水にその意図があったかどうかはわからないが。
2004年12月24日に放送された「井上陽水空想ハイウェイ Act3」（NHKBS2）は、「YOSUI TRIBUTE」特集のような内容だったが、その中で、UAがこんな内容のコメントを寄せている。
4年前に「傘がない」を歌ったとき（注1）、あの時代のある一日が自分の中に入ってきた。曲が憑依したような経験だった。
内容がほとんどドキュメントときいて感動した。
実体験からできた詩なんですね。それでも私小説っぽくないのが陽水らしい。
「傘がない」とUAは同じ年生まれという。30年余を経て、歌い手にそれだけの力を及ぼすことに驚く。感じるUAも凄い。
この曲で、日常的に浮かぶのはこのフレーズ。
♪それはいい事だろ？
「君の事以外は何も見えなくなる」に続いて、哀しい願いをこめるように歌われるが、私の中ではポジティブな意味合いを持つ。例えば、こんなふうに････。
冷たい雨の昨日今日、ごろごろと本を読んだり、陽水を聴いたりして過す。
掃除は？食事は？運動は？という内なるプレッシャーに言うんです。
「それはいい事だろ？」
